This
course covers: Power system modeling, Current and voltage relations on a power
transmission line for different line models; steady state performance; and the
one line and reactance diagrams of a power system. Load characteristics for
electric distribution systems, primary and secondary distribution schemes,
voltage drop and regulation as well as power loss calculations, distribution
transformers and application of capacitors to distribution systems will be
covered
